I create these large scale contemporary objects by stacking multiple elements made from turned metal, and both blown and solid glass. The individual components are simple in form and colour, almost like children's building blocks, which can be built and re-built. It is through the element of play that I arrive at my final compositions. This Organic part of my making process allows me to discover the final piece, rather than adhering to a rigid design set in stone; it is this freedom of discovery that is so important to me, and gives my work it's ambiguous and curious nature.
